How the free assessment works
45 minutes total, split into two parts.
1
30 minutes: practice test
Your student takes an ACT math practice test, timed the same way test day is timed.
2
15 minutes: the review
We go through the test together. I show you and your student exactly where the points were lost and why.
The review uses my 3Rs Method
This is the same method I use with every ACT math student.
Read
Most points get lost before the math even starts. We look at how your student reads the problem and catch where they're misreading what's actually being asked.
Reduce
ACT math problems are full of extra words and distractions. We show your student how to strip a problem down to the actual math hiding inside it.
Resolve
The ACT is timed, so speed matters as much as accuracy. We show your student the fastest way to the answer, not just a correct one.
What this assessment covers
This is ACT math only. We'll walk through the areas that make up the ACT math section.

Hi, I'm Markus.
I built the 3Rs Method after years of watching kids lose ACT math points to things that had nothing to do with math ability. When you book this assessment, you're working with me directly.
What other parents say
Real words from parents who took the free assessment.
Parent of a junior
"We had no idea her math score was being dragged down by pacing, not the actual math. That one assessment changed how we prepped."
Parent of a senior
"He went from a 19 to a 25 on the math section after we found out what was actually going wrong."
Parent of a junior
"The free assessment alone told us more than his practice test scores ever did."
Questions parents usually ask
Straight answers before you sign up.
Is this assessment ACT math only?
Yes. This assessment is built only around the ACT math section. If you're looking for SAT prep instead, that's a separate program.
What if my child hasn't taken the ACT yet?
That's fine. We can still run the assessment using practice problems to see where they stand before test day.
Is the assessment actually free?
Yes. There is no credit card required and no charge after the assessment ends. If you want to continue after that, we will talk about it then, not before.
Is this online or in person?
Assessments are held online over video, so you can join from home on a laptop or tablet.
What if all 10 spots are already taken?
Sign up anyway. We will let you know when the next round of free assessments opens up.
